ROLL OF HONOUR: '20TH ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATION'
Remembrance of Pte Richard John de Mansfield Absolon M.M.(Post)24557055, 3rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment. Killed in action 13th June 1982,Mount Longdon,Falkland Islands.
Richard,was returned to Aldershot where he was buried with Military Honours by his Regiment. A British Airborne Forces Memorial has been dedicated to Richard and rests in the grounds of St.Mary's Anglican Cathedral, New Plymouth New Zealand. R.I.P. 'Lest We Forget' |
