I never knew my father but from what I have learned he must have been a fun man and would have been a great "Dad". My brother and I would have loved to have known him. All we have are a few photos and words. His life was cut short by a torpedo in the Mediterranean 12 June 1942 whilst serving on HMS Grove. My mother never recovered from his loss. She loved him until the day she died - so I know he must have been a wonderful man. I love you Dad and one day we'll be together and catch up on all we missed. |
