Pilot Officer Peter Philips. Born 1933, educated at Varndean Grammar School, Brighton. Joined RAF 1952. Pilot training at Jurby and in Rhodesia. Killed in Meteor accident at RAF Stradishall, 3rd June 1954 aged 21.
A good friend, a talented sportsman and is still sadly missed. |

Lieutenant Lionel Lovell. 4th Batt.City Of London Regiment, the Royal Fusiliers. Fought, with great distinction, in some of the 1st World War major battles. Wounded twice. During 2nd World War was Chief Civil Defence Officer for Hove.
A loving and greatly loved father. A true patriot and a truly gentle man. His example and his memory have always remained with me.
