'HMS INDEFACTABLE' Frederick George, Royal Navy; In remembrance of service in action, Malta World War II 1939-45. Was wounded in the neck and head from shrapnel, returned home to Liverpool where he died of his injuries in 1947. Cousin Harry George was also serving on the same ship. You gave so much and died so young. R.I.P. |

Lost at sea, presumed drowned after ship was torpedoed by German U-Boat near Ireland, on it's return voyage from America. Harry's nephew to his sister Ada was also lost on the same ship. May their souls rest in peace. |

ROLL OF HONOUR: In Remembrance of David Burlington Hunton, Trooper,23845177,Special Recce Squadron,BAOR in 1960's.
David's Unit was formed from the Armoured Corps and he gained
selection via the SAS selection course and Parachute training.
He was a member of the Light Dragoons Association and the British Airborne Forces Personnel Bureau(NZ)Association. David passed away in New Zealand. 'LEST WE FORGET' |

Remembrance of Pte Richard John de Mansfield Absolon M.M.(Post)24557055, 3rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment. Killed in action 13th June 1982,Mount Longdon,Falkland Islands.
Richard, was returned to Aldershot to be buried with Military Honours. A dedicated British Airborne Forces Memorial to Richard,also rests in the grounds of St.Mary's Anglican Cathedral,New Plymouth,New Zealand. R.I.P. 'Lest We Forget' |
