This is a tribute to the following members of the 8th King''s Royal Irish Hussars who served in the Korean Campaign and have passed away in the last two years.
Randal Cooke, Bill Holberton, Bob Erricker and Godfrey(Geof) Halford.
I would also like to remember all Korean Vetrans of the Regiment, their memory lives on at the wonderful Korean Memorial in Washington DC. |

To a young man who was just starting out on lifes journey. He served his Country with pride in an illustrious Cavalry Regiment, The Queen''s Royal Hussars(Queen''s Own & Royal Irish)last posted to IRAQ.
On his return home for his 21st Birthday and his Mother''s 40th his reward from a grateful country was to be Shot and Killed by a 15 year old mugger.
