My great uncle, whom I never met. Served in the Bantam Division of the Sherwood Foresters. Died in France, no known grave. Remembered on the Menin Gate. My son, who serves with the 1st RRF, Craftman Andy Forster, found his name there, along with many others who gave their lives so that we may live in peace. We must never forget their sacrifice. Rest in peace all you good men. |
