Patrick joseph Roche
|
23 December 1918 To 09 January 1990 |
| Ngaruawahia Waikato New Zealand |
To my father who served honourably with the Irish Guards during ww2 1938-1946 , Then later with the New Zealand Army 1950- 1970 .
His strong dedication to the guards way and his strong guidence steered all my brothers and me to seek military careers .
His straight up, chest out stance at many ANZAC parades made him the number 1 choice for many of the parade sargeants ,So all others fell in behind and where shown the british army way .
My parade boots always got a comment from the RSM .
Thanks dad .
So to all the proud men my dad served with and the british army as a whole thank you for giving us such a great bloke . |
