Able Seaman Greenwood aged 20 was killed in action onboard Hms Concord on the 23rd of April 1952. also killed at the same time was Able Seaman Bravington aged 21. Boyh were in y turret when it was hit by a 75mm shell fired from a North Korean coastal battery . The official version was given as --- HMS CONCORD IN THE SONGJIN--CHONJIN AREA RECEIVED FROM 30 TO 40 ROUNDS OF 75MM GUNFIRE FROM SHORE BATTERIES . ONE DIRECT HIT KILLED TWO, WOUNDED FOUR. Able Seaman Greenwood and Able Seaman Bravington were buried at sea in Korean waters. LEST WE FORGET.
