Jim Ferguson, a dour scotsman from the Isle of Uist(South) was a friend thru radio traing school Compton Bassett to our full three year tour of Hong Kong 1954-1956. A great sailor with a keen sense of humour, and who later served in the merchant marine. I only found out a couple of years ago of his death, and it is with sadness I will always remember him. |
