Uncle Len had been a Sergeant PT instructor in the Army during WW2 and trained many of those who later stormed the coast of France on D DAY and were very gratefull to Len for getting them trained and fit to do this
He later became a School Master and PT and Swimming instuctor at
a school in ST Albans and was very popular and well liked doing this
He also loved gardening, and that was really his hobby
He moved to Wisbech in Norfolk when he retired.
He left this World a better place and Long may he be remembered |
