Uncle Jack served with great distinction during WW2 being an
RAF navigator and completing two tours of ops over Germany
No mean feat. In 1971 he went on holiday to Yugoslavia with his
wife Gwen Sadly, on landing on an Island off the coast the Aircraft crashed and all on board apart from one survivor were tradically killed when it overturned and caught fire.
