In memory of LAC Ernest Spargo RAFVR 1434315 who served with distinction in North Africa and Italy He was wounded at Capodichino
Airfield Naples when it was shot up by German planes Gallantly, he stayed at his post to get a Spitfire airborn to intercept them and was hit Sadly he later died of his wounds in Hospital
He is intered at the Naples War Cemetery He was 22years old
At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember him |
