Frank Francisco smith
|
August 1891 To November 1943 |
| Bramford Suffolk England |
This is a tribute to the father of my best friend Herbert. Frank Fransico Smith ,who was a veteran soldier of WW1 and was killed when a bomb dropped near to the Station Garage that he owned at Bramford near Ipswich on November 03 in 1943.
Frank was doing his duty as an ARP warden to the village and so lost his life in trying to make sure of the safety of others when he could have been secure in his own shelter. He was 52 year old.
Greater Love hath no man than he give up his life for his friends
May his Soul Rest in Peace |
