WINSTON BELL
|
10 July 1940 To 24 December 2002 |
| United Kingdom |
MY FATHER WAS RAF THROUGH AND THROUGH UNTIL THE DAY HE DIED. HE SERVED BETWEEN 1955 AND 1968 BOTH AS A BOY ENTRANT AND AN ADULT. HE WAS SO PROUD WHEN I JOINED THE RAF, HE NEVER COMPLAINED ABOUT HIS LIFE AND THE DIRECTIONS IT TOOK. HE NEVER LOST THAT FORCES SENSE OF HUMOUR THAT CAN NEVER BE FOUND OUTSIDE THE FORCES. I HOPE HE IS AT PEACE.. I WISH I HAD MORE TIME WITH HIM. |

There is nothing worse than breaking down. But if you do, the RAC have more than 1,500 patrols ready to rescue you, whether you are at the shops or on the motorway. They will always try to fix your vehicle at the roadside, but if they cant they will make getting it repaired as painless as possible.
