Joanne joined the RAF in 1980 as a Dental Nurse. She rose through the ranks and was promoted to Warrant Officer in 1998 through hard work, dedication and talent.
Joanne was found to have a brain tumour in 2002 and after an emergency operation lost her eyesight and developed epilepsy. She was discharged from the RAF around 2004/5. Joanne passed away at home, where she most wanted to be. |
