Ordinary Seaman Reginald Jack Wright
|
To April 1949 |
| Plymouth Devon |
Jackie Wright was part of my childhood, when we played together as a group ''down our street'' in Plymouth. Later we became closer friends as he joined the Navy and was away some of the time. He was killed on the HMS Amethyst in the Yangtze incident. I was too young to appreciate the sorrow of this, but I now wish to post a memorial to him.
I still remember my childhood playmate
