Was in recruits with Mark in Woolwhich in 74 and got on well with him he went to 24 missile l went to 2 fd in 75 we were in derry N.I on my last day as l was going out on patrol l bumped into Mark as he was debusing and had a quick chat he had volentered to be with 26 regt for the tour. . I did not see Mark as we were out of N.I the next day. Sadly Mark was killed in the january of 76 just one of the many lads who paid the price of keeping the peace. R.I.P mate gone but not forgot |
