I knew George well,we had many a night in the Cpl's Club in Fallingbostel. He did a stint in the stables before commanding the Bridge Layer, in which he had the accident that took his life. George was married to Geordie Harper's sister, Geordie himself being killed in
a traffic accident some time later.He was good company was George Moffat and has been sadly missed by all who knew him.
