George was a radio operator on board Lancaster Bomber JB664 ZN-N which was on a mission to bomb the railway sidings at Vitry in France when it crashed near Bransles France on 27 June 1944 killing all seven crew on board. They are all at rest in a communial grave at Bransles. Rest in peace. |
