I remember words you said to me before we left for the South Atlantic as you weren't coming with us,"Harry I should be going down South with you as I am a class 1 Medic and I am stuck in the Ration Stores and they are sending Class 3 medics who have no experience."I said "Scouse it is wrong as you should be coming with us as we need experienced Medics and I am sorry that you are staying here."The next time I saw you was on the night of the 08th June 82 on board the Galahad in the Galley.I said "good to see you Scouse.I see you have found your potential".That was the last time I saw or spoke to you as the next day you were killed with the Mortar Platoon of the Welsh Guards.Scouse you will always be remembered,not in the Ration Stores but giving your life with Comrades in the Battlezone."We Will Remember Them".IN ARDUIS FIDELIS. |
