GARY RILEY
|
02 June 1967 To 02 April 1986 |

GARY RILEY, my big brother my friend, he joined the navy in 1984, his class got guard at passing out, sitting in the stands i watched with great pride. His first and only ship was H.M.S GALATEA, he never got to forfill his dream of seeing the world, he only got to see a few places, but at each place he remembered me! He made sure he found and brought me a pencil rubber to add to my collection. On the morning of April 2nd 1986, he got up to have breakfast, with his friends in pig pen mess. As he stood up from the table he collapsed and died. As far as i am aware, he had caught a virus in his heart whilst abroad, nobody knew! Now at the age of 35 i still have my rubbers, and to this day the collection is growing. I miss my brother with all my heart. A HEART OF GOLD STOPS BEATING, TWO SMILING EYES AT REST, GOD BROKE OUR HEARTS TO PROVE TO US, HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST. A MILLION TIMES I'VE NEEDED YOU, A MILLION TIMES I'VE CRIED, IF MY LOVE ALONE COULD HAVE SAVED YOU, YOU NEVER WOULD HAVE DIED.
GOD BLESS YOU GARY, R.I.P. YOUR SISTER....JO |
