To the memory of Lieutenant Reginald Hutchinson Sutch who served his country in the Great War in the Royal Field Artillery from 1914 to 1922. He was wounded on the Somme by a bullet through his thigh which killed his horse. He was the father-in-law that I never met however my wife Lesley has told many tales of his good nature and kindness. He worked for Barclays Bank for most of his life except for his coastguard service in the Second World War.He was a keen rugby supporter and President of Scarborough RFC.
