In Loving Memory of Sgt/Navigator John Lynch who was drowned Presumably) after baling out from a Halifax of 138 Squadron after a 9 1/2 hour mission on the night of 16/17th December 1943.
His body was washed up in East Anglia on 27th March 1944 and is buried in Hamilton cemetery. Also in memory of the rest of the crew :- J Hannah, TB Hawkes, Bob Marshall who also died that morning and F/Lt Tommy Thomas, JKR Vincent and JA Vick who survived that night but were lost early June 1944.
