| Liverpool & Frodsham Merseyside & Cheshire England |
My Dad served with the Royal Navy during World War 2 as Shipwright Petty Officer: He served on HMS Illustrious from 25 December 1941 until 26th November 1943 before he joined HMS Drake on the 27th November 1943, then followed service with HMS Hannibal, Ajax and Colossus. He continued his service until 29 August 1946 but enrolled in the Royal Fleet Reserve.
His love of the sea and carpentry continued until his death on the 21st October 1991. He was a fine man and I'm proud that he was my Dad.
