2nd Radio Officer William Booth survived the WWII fiasco only to be killed when he was involved in a RTA through no fault of his own.He left a Wife and four children. |

Chief Radio Officer Harry Booth studied,qualified and joined the Merchant Navy in January 1941. Serving in all theatres of the WWII at sea, from Russian Convoys to the Pacific. In all he served for Thirteen years before coming ashore and eventually dying of Cancer in 1995. His Wife had died six years previously. |
