To November 1942 |
| Chatham Kent United Kingdom |
Leading Seaman William Charles Stedman
In memory of Bill Stedman who was lost at sea November 1942 while serving on HMS Avenger.
Sadly I never knew my grandfather but deeply respect what he died for, he was an honour to his nation.
At the time he left behind a young wife and three small children who have never forgotten him.
From his grateful granddaughter Georgina.
