My old mate John, ex 2nd. Battalion Grenadier Guards, died 2oth July 2007, remembering the funnny times we had and the laughs, I still giggle about the German officer who gave your feet a lift, and left us with your gear, also remembering your dad, Driver J. Lambert K.I.A. August 1944 Royal Engineers, buried at Bayeaux Cemetary, hope you have now met up. cheers, your old mate Wally |
