In memory of my grandfather, Sergeant Percy Johnston of the 2nd Battalion Otago Regiment. Veteran of the 1st World War. Fought in the trenches in France, including the Somme side by side with his brother Bill Johnston who received fatal wounds towards the end of the conflict, Together with his brother they are held in our hearts with pride.
