James Combe
|
March 1920 To May 1996 |
| United Kingdom |
In Loving memory of my father Jim Combe who served in the Royal Navy between 1936 and 1950.His stories of life onboard ship during the Second World War were an inspiration to all the family. He served on Atlantic convoys for most of the war, mainly onboard H.M.S.Winchelsea,a ship he recalled with much affection.
On leaving the Navy he worked for many years as a postman in his home town of Berwick-on-Tweed,where he lived until his death in 1996.Remembered with much affection by all his family and friends. |
