After demob in 1960 i returned to catering and had my own private hotel in Clacton-on-sea until 1969 when my family and self immigrated to NZ.
I have had a varied career, having been a warehouse manager for a number of years, then had my own restaurant, had three different painting and decorating businesses. Also was the towns ( where I lived) chief security guard for four years. Then had a spell of eight years in australia, but returned to NZ recently.
I have two children and a second wife.

 I last seen bill and jill in march 1957 at raf stanbridge bill recentley joined forces reunited and saw that i was looking for him . bill is the 10th ex service pal i have found .many thanks to forces reunited. John Vale
