Where are you now?:I am now 76 and in rude good health and living with my wife of 50 years on an island off the east coast of Australia about 60 clicks north of Brisbane. We came here in 1982 with two of our four children (the other two were at University), stayed for ten years and then returned to the UK in 1992 where we both had aging parents. But the weather finally determined our return to Oz in December 2000. Three of our four children with their families live within 75 miles of our home and we see them regularly. But you know what? I still damn well miss England!

Sometimes you give up hopes of finding old friends! ken and jacky lived in the same block of flats as my wife and i, 42 years ago whilst we served in the raf. i became god father to their first daughter. they were posted to germany and we lost contact.two weeks ago a name the same as his popped up on my friends list, i made tentative contact, and the reunion has been made. we have talked at length on the phone and have arranged to meet. 42 years is along time, it just proves it's worth checking on this site, don't give up! thanks, forces reunited. barrie [taff] daviesBarrie Davies
