On retiring from the RAF I worked in the Middle East(Kuwait & Saudi Arabia) then went to work for Shell in Nigeria and Gabon. From 1996 until 2007 I worked for the United Nations in such holiday hotspots as Somalia, Croatia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Sierra Leone and finally Iraq for three years. I am now enjoying my retirement here in Devon with the wife. |

 Thanks to forces reunited, i have been able to contact a fellow who shared the same billett as i, and i might add, many a good night out, when i was in the raf in germany in 1957-1960, losing contact with him after i was posted back to the uk. i registered on fr and shortly after, brian contacted me. we now correspond on a fairly regular basis, by way of the internet, visiting being out of the question, for now, due to my living in australia. brian was able to bring me up to date on several of the other lads who were in our group. all due to this great site, forces reunited, thanks again. tony sayers.
