On the 16th june this yr i met up with my long lost marine oppo mike ( tug ) wilson after 44 yrs.we were last to-gether in brunei serving with 40 commando royal marines in 1962.we were invited with our wives to the commando training centre rm at lympstone.devon by the co.we wore our green berets and medals and we were treated as veterans should be with much respect.we had a great day and felt proud to be there.we have a photograph of us to-gether if needed.theres a famous saying "that you can take a man out of the royal marines, but you can't take the marines out of a man!!
regards
aye
