Got a job for six months as Postman, then ex.Servicemans association got me into Post Office Engineers. After ten years I left and got job as driver with NHS Law Hospital Carluke. Left that because of harrassment by Christian manager. six months unemployment (my fault) Got job as Undertaker with Co-op (CWS) Funeral Dept for six months. Then offered job as Cremator Operator/Chapel Attendant with Glasgow City Council where I spent 24 and Half years in their employment. Have now been retired for almost 4 years |

 Thanks to forces reunited, i have been able to contact a fellow who shared the same billett as i, and i might add, many a good night out, when i was in the raf in germany in 1957-1960, losing contact with him after i was posted back to the uk. i registered on fr and shortly after, brian contacted me. we now correspond on a fairly regular basis, by way of the internet, visiting being out of the question, for now, due to my living in australia. brian was able to bring me up to date on several of the other lads who were in our group. all due to this great site, forces reunited, thanks again. tony sayers.
