Where are you now?:Retired from Barclays Bank about 10 years ago and recently returned from 6 years voluntary service in South Africa with Cape Town City Mission working in the Townships with street children, the poor, and coaching hockey in the Townships amongst what is one of the most gang ridden and violent places on earth. If you saw the film City of God on gangs in S America, will give you idea of my environment I worked amongst. A flak jacket was no help in the areas of the Cape Flats I worked in!(geographical area not buildings.) At present trying to find out where I can help resolve the current gang/gun/knife crime in UK with my experience. Have already been to see MP at Parliament and exchanging my ideas etc and will be seeing one of David Camerons staff to discuss this with them next week at Conservative HQ. Presently 'champing at the bit' and trying to network and get some part time employment commensurate with my experience.
