I served for 25 years and travelled extensively, for 8 years flying as a Ground Engineer with the Hercules all over the world. When I left the RAF, I settled in Bristol and joined British Aerospace (now Airbus UK)working as a technical author on the Airbus aircraft. I am presently working for Airbus UK on the A340 aircraft as a Team Leader.

 I first knew john in 1960 when we served together in asf at raf bassingbourn in cambridgeshire. in 1964 i was posted to meteor flt{later to be called 1574 tff}at raf changi in singapore, john was posted to a uk posting so we lost contact until i received a phone call yesterday after he had seen my name on forcesreunited webside.it was wonderful to swap stories with him and find we had not changed so very much in 45 years!!!
