 Barry and i joined the r.a.f. in december 1966. after our a mech. p course at st. athan we went our separate ways. we met up again at brize norton in 1972 while i was on my vc 10 course prior to a posting to tengah. barry was in the big hangar. we last met at brize norton when i arrived back from tengah in summer 1976.
i left the r.a.f. on 2 april 1979 to take up a career in civil aviation. i often wondered where barry may have been, but heard nothing further until just recently, thanks to forces reunited. we are now up to date with what we have been doing over the past 30 years. i have also regained contact with two friends from my days in singapore. 25 gbp well spent. i recommend forces reunited to all ex service personnel wishing to trace former colleagues.
