However my banana bending business is doing very well, and I hope to be floating it on the London Stock Exchange very soon. Will probably retire to Skeggy afterwards.

 I recieved an e-mail one day this year, from a mate who servred with me on hms bildeston in 1970-73, his daughter had been surfing the net and found my name on this web site.
i left the navy in 1977 and joined the fire sevice, when bob ford and i finally made contact i discovered
that he is also in the fire service
i e-mailed him with lots of old photos of us in the navy and have been in contact ever since, i am holidaying' in the lake district next year and we are hoping to go and see him in newcastle Gary Faulkner
