After being out of the army (1st battalion the kings own border regiment')now for nearly 25 years - alan, myself and our wives were great freinds when we were based in weeton camp and berlin (before the wall came down)- even when we came out of the army, we stayed in touch, but, only for a short while - i havent seen nor heard from alan in over 23 years - now thanks to forces re-united - we have been re-united. it was really great to hear from him again - further to find out that he unlike myslef is still married to that same great woman 'mim' and has now become grand parents. it's unusual to realise that we still have a fair amount in common with each other. with luck 'and gods speed' we'll be able to get together very soon, and not just reminiss, but hopefully look ahead to becoming great freinds again. thank you 'forces re-united' looking for and finding old freinds was the easiest thing i've done in any site. John Ingleton
