Where are you now?:West Yorkshire Police I served onboard MHS Cornwall based in Devonport. I trained as an Electronic Warfare Operator and in how to drink as much as you can! I literally had a ball – worked hard (very hard), met brilliant people, saw fantastic sights, experienced wonderful events, extremely proud to be part of the Navy…..but had a ball !!!!!!! I left the Navy and went to work for EMIS which is an IT company supplying computers to the NHS. I eventually became an Operations Director for the company, a role I enjoyed immensely. I travelled all over the country but 3 years ago decided I needed a drastic change from the corporate image and living out of hotels. Which brings me to the present day where I find myself part of the family they call the West Yorkshire Police. I would love to hear from anyone who served onboard HMS Cornwall or were at the same shore bases of HMS Raleigh, HMS Drake or HMS Dryad at the same time I was there. Especially any of my intake at Raleigh (I was in Nelson 38 alpha). I have kept in touch with a few people from the Navy days but would love to catch with Topsey Turner, Tupper Ware, Ali Campbell, Kirsty Arnden, Scott Cordy, Doc Cox (whom I drove mad night after night whilst on watch), and many many more people – the list could go on. I want to catch up with everyone soon as I am planning on moving back down to the Devon/Cornwall coast (miss the Oggies too much). So anyone who knows me…get in touch, I would love to hear from you!!!!!

After leaving the royal navy nearly 15 years ago i saw the website for forces reunited and decided to try to catch up with some of my old mates.this has been the best decision i have ever done.there are a few names who brought back memories of pompey which is where we were based together.we all left at similar times and as always you say you will keep in touch but never seem to get around to it.i live in the outskirts of manchester and the lads i have got back in contact with are in london, birmingham etc but a reunion is on the cards for october this year and it will be all thanks to forces reunited for all the hard work and dedication that they do for others in similar situations.i strongly recommend this site to anyone as the payment is nothing compared to the joy of catching up with old times. the ships we served on together were hms jupiter & hms charybdis,1985/88.Kevin Cook
