 I have joined many ex-service web sites in the hope of catching up with old friends from the main regiments. one person in particular blakey our last contact was 1973 when i left the service. we made contact again this month for the first time. he left the service soon after i did and immigrated to austria. we are planning to meet next year sadly he will not meet my wife who passed on this year after a long fight with cancer. but i am looking forward to meeting his wife and family. thanks to ‘forces reunited’ we will meet again.
