 I have tried to find ron and his family for many years as i served with him in cyprus and borneo with 3rd btn green jackets (rifle brigade)he and his wife maggie were so good to me and my wife (pat) when we got married prior to being posted away for a year unaccompanied.
i tried various other web sites but the very first day that i joine fr i saw ron's name, sent him a message via you web site and within a few day i was so pleased to get his reply.
we have also now been in cantact over the phone, which is just great.
we last met in aldershot 1973/74 but sadly like many service families we lost touch.
so all i can say is abig thankyou to fr as if it were not for this site we would still be searching.  Peter Johnson
