 We all met as boy soldiers at cwrt-y-gollen, crickhowell. we passed out and went to the 1st bn royal welch fusiliers. we served in the falklands, america, portugal france, warminster, ternhill. sid left the army and we carried on. i transfered to he ulstr defence regiment in 1988 where i lost contact with all 3 until recently. myself, led and sid have since met up and had a good reunion. lots of drink ha ha we then met up again in my wedding and all 4 of us are meeting up again soon for leds 40th birthday. the best thing is myself and sid haven't seen slim in over 20 years so we're having a good drink on that reunion. we were16 when wemet young boys, and now men it still feels like yesterday, the only difference is we're grey, fat bolding but still think we're 16.. its true what they say once you mak friends in the forces they're friends. more like a band of brothers..sadly our best friend to us all david curtis committed suicide a couple of years ago an non of us new only sid. david or curt as he as known to us joind the same time and left the army around the same time as sid. we are all still looking for the one that we can't find selwyn thomas all 5 together would be great.
