 I have for the last 5 years organised the annual reunion for hms albion (1962-64 commission). in december 1962 and as a commando carrier, the ship became involved in the brunei/borneo confrontation for 18 months. with a ship's company of 750, and an average age of 18, we became a close knit team, as our old skipper remarked when he attended our first reunion in 1999. always looking at ways of seeking out and making new contacts i came a cross your site. within 48 hours of registering as a member, i made 3 contacts with guys who i last saw 40 years ago on hms albion, one of these actually lives in the same town !
an excellent site and way of contacting old mates.
