His plane was sent spinning into the sea. The wreck of his Seafire was found only recently when divers went down looking for something else. A programme was made about this on Meridian T.V. I would be so grateful to hear from anyone who may possibly remember him.

 I have just made contact with cliff who i first met when we joined the fleet air arm in 1946. after being stationed at hms escaliber, hms sanderling and hms illustrious we lost touch and have been reunited through 'forcesreunited'. we have since met and are still swapping old stories. the lamps are swinging like mad!!
