Final job in London was housing management for eighteen years. Prior to that worked in electronics, avionics, electrics, the motor industry and heating and ventilation controls. Finished off as Voluntary Director of a large housing association in London after period of ill health finished my paid employability.
Pat and I have two daughters and a son, and four grandchildren courtesy of the oldest daughter.
I'm still a DIY fanatic, but intersperse that now with digital and video photography. I read a lot, dabble a bit in oil and water paints; I've now got a sea fishing rod which I keep threatening to bait up and go and frighten some fish - but it hasn't happened yet.

Fred and i joined the navy together as boy entrants in 1963,we did our training at h.m.s. ganges for twelve months (it was tough)we then were sent in 1964 to h.m.s. raleigh for a few weeks while awaiting our drafts to ships. we both were drafted to hms troubridge which we were on for two years, during which time we went to different countries, we had some good laughs and became firm friends,we even had tatoos on our arms(bob and fred pals forever, with a picture of two hands clasped)in 1966 i was getting married to a girl from plymouth and fred was to be our best man,we then both received our new drafts, me to the niaad and fred to the dundus, and as it turned out fred was due to be at sea the day we got married.from that time we lost touch.years later through friends reunited and forces reunited i started to look for him again, and just two weeks ago,42 years later i have found him. mywife and i are going to see him and his wife and family next week in newcastle.he lives in ryton newcastle england. we live in limavady, co londonderry n, ireland.cheers bob.
