 We first met when ian came to 1 para from depot para joining us in palace barracks in northern ireland we became good friends over the remainder of the tour but lost touch when i got a posting to brigade helicopter squadron,we had seen each others names on a couple of sites but were unable to get in touch until i noticed his name on forces reunited and now e mail each other on a regular basis  William Taylor
