It was a sheer delight to contact
sailor after 45 years. to make sure i had the right person i had to remind him of a story we both shared involving a senior member of the royal family- alas a story not to be shared on these pages.it was funny though. we are now both retired in our respective cities. we served together in fallingbostel, germany in the earlysixties when we were both young and wild members of the 5th royal tank regiment which alas was laid up in 1969. i do hope that this will be the first of many friends i have yet to meet. Edward O,connell
