It is nearly 39yrs since i have seen or heard from peter.we sailed from these shores aboard h.m.s.bulwark(rusty b)in march 1964.we were part of 845 sqdn and were en-route to relieve h.m.s.albion and her squadron who had been serving in borneo for 18 months during the confrontation with indonesia.we completed our tour of 18 months and arrived back in the u.k.in september 1965 where we both went our different ways (due to drafting)and after leave of course.i was gob-smacked to hear from peter through forces re-united within the past couple of days, after so long.of course we are keeping in touch.thanks to you all for doing such a sterling job.
