The battalion arrived in Nov 85 at West Belfast. D Coy where located at Norh Howard St Mill. Our TOAR was divis flats and its full complement of the most generous warm hearted locals (DURCH), lower falls, beechmounts, RVH, TAC HQ, Broadway OP and its nurses. 16plt were Lt M T, Sgt paul, taff addison 3RGJ, pete b, ginge s,mark o, ET, mousier potts, granny, geordie carlisle, dave H, scouse M, tony w, samuel mac, specy steve, john inman, charlie, rodney p, jock wark, hodgy, t morelz and herbie. I remember dark rainy days and nights and EGG BANJOS. |
